Rommel Martínez is an artificial intelligence researcher with almost three decades of professional experience in software engineering; systems administration; and programming language theory.

His interests lie with consciousness, the mind, reality, dualism, and computationalism. He is currently exploring how we can use modern machines to determine the upper limits of what can be computed with artificial intelligence. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Krei Systems, Inc.

He loves to play golf (NGAP) and do practical shooting (IPSC/PPSA). He is a proud member of San Juan Elyu Shooter's Club, Inc. and The Fraternal Order of Eagles - Philippine Eagles.

He currently lives with his wife and son in the Philippines.
